We created the La Familia Blend as a richer, darker roast you could savor while you spend time with your favorite people.  First, we played matchmaker with beans from two different central American coffee-growing regions — the highlands of Huehuetenango, Guatemala, and Costa Rica’s Puntarenas highlands. Then we took the green beans to our roasting lab to experiment and find the perfect roast level and blend to bring out the best flavors in both beans.
